What are Microgreens?

With microgreens you eat only the young plant stem called a hypocotyl, and the “cotyledon” leaves. The first 2 large broad leaf ones as well as the beginning of the “Plumule” are the “cotyledon” leaves. Want to learn more? Go to our Info & FAQ for more information.

It is not a sprout, with sprouts you eat the seed, the emerging stem called the hypocotyl, and the beginning root called the radicle.

Microgreens are more nutritious than their full grown version. It is densely packed with vitamins, micronutrients, minerals, and macro elements that our cells and bodies need to function properly.
